i guess there's no happily ever after for me and "john".

as of 4:58 pm today, it was over. we called it quits over ym. i know right, ym? my idea, actually. i didn't want him to come all the way to my house from las pinas just for it to happen.

and so i'm back to being single ...and hopefully, happy too, soon. because that's how i was until he came along. i learned the meaning of loneliness because of him. i mean, staying home on fridays? watching movies alone? i knew the whole time he was out drinking with his friends. i don't know about you, but i think that spells trouble for a relationship.

of course it takes two to tango; i have my shortcomings too. i'm still learning, you know.

anyway i'll be ok. it was a pretty good breakup, i must say.
we agreed to be friends and all. and we meant it too.
(at least i did.) he's a good guy, not to mention hot, hehe... and we had some fun times...but we're just not the best match for each other.

well. that's all for now. i think i'll take another 6-year hiatus from the relationships scene. ahehehe...

CECILIA > my dad is a musician and a catholic, i guess he wanted at least one female child of his to be named after the patron saint of music. apparently he had high musical expectations from me, hehe

ARGEME > this was my paternal grandmother's first name, but everybody called her nenita, which was the name of her older sister who died before my lola was born. anyway i share this name with a cousin. i believe we are the only argemes in the country today *waves to the crowd*

my 23rd birthday was the worst ever in this lifetime i swear. i was so stressed at work, the boss was mean and nobody even knew it was supposed to be a special day for me simply because that company is and forever will be a dump. i mean if i was a fortune teller for them, i'd think i'd gone blind. you get the picture.

bought this laptop after designing a logo and marketing materials for this company in makati. it's the most expensve thing i ever spent my own money on; it'll be fully paid in 5 months. ehe.

i have flu. and it's my first day of that time of the month. and to add to the fun i walked right into a pole just a little over an hour ago. i don't really know why i didn't see it. one moment i was making my way to the car and the next thing i knew, there was this searing pain in my face. my nose and left cheek still hurt-- i hope the area won't bruise or anything. hnnh... well at least i have somethig to write about eh? come to think of it, it is kind of funny. i would've laughed if i wasn't already feeling crappy when it happened. hehe. woot.

hm. maybe i need to get my eyes checked...

had dinner and bonded with officemates last thursday. hehe. i love my teammates. :)

and my teammates love music. on the way home i was turned into a jukebox. grabe not counting choir practice, i don't think i've sung that many songs in a day since the liongorens' exhibit at pinto three years ago. hahaha. i didn't know singing was such an effective tool for making friends. haha... :p

i'm glad i chose to go out with the girls. the boys wanted to drink e, they wouldn't say where naman until it was time to go. i took it that they weren't decided yet on a place. how do i consider their invitation diba? inuman pala e, and it's not like i've known them forever. so by the time they told me the place i had already decided to go out with the other group. hehe. well i think even if they told me agad where they planned to go drinking, i still would've declined because i badly needed to sleep; i don't think i could've handled alcohol at that time. hehehe. puyat and inuman don't mix well in my opinion. hehe. peter could vouch for that i think. hehe.

hm. on the serious side, i have to learn how to work fast. sobrang fast-paced pala talaga sa office. i mean, yeah i've heard that a thousand times but it's totally different when you're actually there, y'know? i mean, i never missed a deadline back in college. (wow may "back in college" nang nalalaman... time flies indeed!) now i'm cramming all the time. and i hate to cram. it rattles me. i don't like it. i hope i adjust soon... god please... because i love where i am. i want to stay a looong time. *prays*

so there. i have to go buy a birthday present for my youngest sister who is obsessed with the click five and who has tickets to their show. she and martha will be watching them perform today at glorietta. or is it greenbelt? basta yun. at least matino-tino naman yung click five compared to the band made up of these triplets and their older brother that i was actually crazy about when i was young and naive. haha!

this morning i took the written exam at the LTO. you know, for the driver's license. i got a 39/40. not bad... pero nanghinanayang ako dun sa 1 point. haha na-OC daw ang lola. :p

anyway come 6pm, my driver's license was handed to me by the receptionist at A1driving. i held it for about 15 seconds, feeling all giddy since i've wanted to be able to drive --alone-- for the longest time. i was still grinning when i stepped out to hail a cab home--
and that's when i saw that my stipulated height and weight were incorrect.

call me paranoid, but what if i get into a legal fix in the future and it gets pointed out that i had false information on my records? *hehe recalls liar liar the movie*

i went back in the office and filled out a form to correct the figures.

so there. i'll get my license next week pa.

first off, thanks to the lj and multiply people who responded to my last post. :)

now, i just learned that the kittens are newborns so they need to nurse; they will be available after 1 month pa. oh, and they're all white with blue eyes. so yun. i'll contact you guys in a month and if you're still interested, you can pick them up at my uncle's place. ok? thanks again. :D
